How to Get the True Ending in Valkyrie Elysium
Valkyrie Elysium‘s True Ending is the hardest to unlock out of the game’s 4 possible endings as it requires the most steps in addition to pitting you against two of the game’s final bosses (the other having a new form as well). Getting the True Ending, however, is the most rewarding as it gives the best possible climax to Maria’s story.
There is no specific trophy or achievement obtained for unlocking the True Ending. It will, however, let you obtain Twilight of the Great Wolf, The Twilight of the All-Father, and the Truth of the Gods achievements afterwards.

Steps to Unlock the True Ending
Below are the steps on how to get the True Ending in the game, arranged in order of completion during the game’s final story chapter (Chapter 9: The Fate of the World).
1) Collect all Verdant Blossoms before starting Chapter 9: The Fate of the World.
The first step to getting the True Ending is to find all Verdant Blossoms that begin to appear from Chapter 3: An Unexpected Encounter up to Chapter 8: The Truth Unmasked. Once you have collected all of them, the final Verdant Blossom will spawn in Chapter 9: The Fate of the World inside the Serpent’s Lair. The last flower is found at the center of the area and is hard to miss when you enter.
2) Meet Armand at the designated spot and select the first option: “Accept that you are a Valkyrie and do what must be done” (refuse Armand’s offer to be human and run away with him).
After getting all Verdant Blossoms (including the one found at Serpent’s Lair), head to the meeting place and speak to Armand. To get the True Ending, select the first option “Accept that you are a Valkyrie and do what must be done” which essentially tells Armand that you do not agree with his plan to run away.
3) Progress through Chapter 9: The Fate of the World.
From here, simply proceed further into the Chapter 9’s main objectives. You will eventually reach the end of the level and find a pillar of light through a large hole. Defeat the enemies that appear here to reach Fenrir.
5) Team up with Hilde to defeat Fenrir.
Simply take down Fenrir with the help of Hilde to progress through the True Ending route. Summon Einherjar as often as possible to quickly stack up damage on the Great Wolf while keeping your HP up using items or Heal III.
6) Team up with Hilde to defeat Odin.
Once Fenrir is defeated, you must face Odin. Hilde will still fight alongside you in this one. Note that Odin is weak against the Holy element so summoning Kristoffer and using Void Extreme III Divine Art is recommended.
7) Defeat Ragnarok Odin.
The True Ending route’s final boss is Ragnarok Odin, a greatly empowered version of the All-Father. The boss’ weakness changes constantly during the fight so you will have to take advantage of all Einherjar and Divine Arts at your disposal. It is also recommended to stack up on Arts Elixirs and Soul Elixirs for this fight so you can keep summoning and spamming Divine Arts against Ragnarok Odin.
