Main Quest Walkthrough

Meet Frank in the Fish Eye

1 Listen to Frank on the radio. Afterwards, follow the quest marker to the Fish Eye Canteen in New Dawn Park.
2 Approach Frank and talk to him to hear his plan.

Go to the military antenna

1 After listening to Frank, head to the military antenna in The Wharf.
2 To get inside the building, use the hook behind it (the side with the sign that says “Home is where you shine.”) to get yourself close enough to the scaffold-like structures sticking out of the building’s exterior. Then, grapple to the the swing bars and swing yourself to the scaffold-like structures. Do this going left and then right until you are able to enter the building through an opening in the office.
3 Once you are at the corridor, look to your left to find a GRE crate with Inhibitor x1 inside.
4 Follow the corridor out into the exterior of the building again. You will now need to grapple your way twice in succession across the gap to reach a balcony that leads back inside the building.
5 Afterwards, follow the quest marker to the elevator shaft and use the yellow bars on the left to go up.
6 Keep going up and you will eventually reach an opening on your left (with planks of wood sticking out), allowing you to enter the next area.
7 Move past the Infected in the area (or take them out) and go to the next room rooms. Afterwards, head out the opening of the office to a balcony and move forward to a grappling hook latch point across the gap. Latch onto it and swing across to another balcony on the upper level.
8 Move forward on the balcony and jump toward the swing bar ahead to launch you to another balcony at the other end and enter the room.
9 Head out the opening of this room and jump to the swing bar and then to the scaffold past it. Climb up and walk forward to find another grapple hook latch point above. Continue to ascend along the balconies until you reach the roof where the antennas are.

Activate the antenna

1 A generator can be found on the roof which will allow you to activate a Nightrunner’s Hideout as well.
2 To go up to the transmission box at the very top, approach the antenna with two poles that below its metal platform (the other antennas do not have this). Afterwards, climb up to get up to the metal platform and face the beam connecting two antennas together in the middle. You should see a grappling hook latch point to swing you across to the next antenna. Kick the ladder down for easy access when you fall.
3 Afterwards, slide along the zipline to the next antenna. Afterwards, you will need to use the moving pole on the antennas and wait for them to get closer to a stationary pole you can jump to to climb further up. To move further up to the higher antenna platforms, look for any latch points to grapple to, allowing you to swing across.
4 When you reach the highest antenna platform, open the transmission box to activate it.

Set the proper frequency

1 Walk to the left of the transmission box and operate the frequency panel.
2 Listen to Frank on the radio.

Go to the second antenna

1 From the transmission box platform, paraglide to the direction of the quest marker. You should land somewhere on the rooftops. Then, head to the second antenna on foot.
2 Just a little ways south of the Artist’s Workshop is a lift that you can use to go up to the rooftop groves. Upon getting up the buildings, move toward the quest marker until you see red ledges you can use to proceed further toward the marked location.
3 Move higher up the red ledges by going around the building next to your target. You will eventually be able to get close to suspended wooden board to move even closer to the marked location.
4 Cross the wooden board and move along the connected beams. You should see a parachute hanging on the side of the building to your left. Jump toward it and climb up the ledge to reach the rooftop.

Kill the Renegades – Set the proper frequency

1 Renegades will be guarding the area so take them out. Just be careful of falling off the edge when you are moving around.
2 Approach the generator to set up the frequency.

Go to the old offices on Garrison Boulevard – Defeat the Renegades

1 Follow the quest marker to Garrison Boulevard. Use the paraglider to cover more ground while in the air and then hoof the remaining distance.
2 When you reach the small alley behind the offices, climb up the handholds on the pillar in the corner.
3 When you reach the rooftop, follow the quest marker down to the lower area leading to the office.
4 You can pick up The (end of) Times issue #2 (Artifact) once you enter the office.
5 Continue deeper into the office.
6 It is recommended to take out the regular Renegades before focusing on the Bigwig. Use the most of your transformation to kill as many of the enemies as possible.
7 Watch the cutscene.

Meet with Hakon

1 Follow the quest marker to the Hakon’s location in Lower Dam Ayre.
2 When you reach the area, prepare the Renegades.
3 When you reach the rooftop, follow the quest marker down to the lower area leading to the office.
4 You can pick up The (end of) Times issue #2 (Artifact) once you enter the office.
5 Continue deeper into the office.
6 It is recommended to take out the regular Renegades before focusing on the Bigwig. Use the most of your transformation to kill as many of the enemies as possible.
7 Watch the cutscene.

Talk to Hakon – Defeat Hakon

1 Talk to Hakon after clearing out the Renegades. Afterwards, prepare to battle him.
2 Hakon likes to throw out power attacks so try to get a feel for his swing and dodge to make him miss. Then, get in 1 to 2 hits before backing away again. Repeat the process until you are able to lower Hakon’s health to about half.
3 When you reach the rooftop, follow the quest marker down to the lower area leading to the office.
4 You can pick up The (end of) Times issue #2 (Artifact) once you enter the office.
5 Continue deeper into the office.
6 It is recommended to take out the regular Renegades before focusing on the Bigwig. Use the most of your transformation to kill as many of the enemies as possible.
7 Watch the cutscene.

Search the church for Hakon – Defeat Hakon (2)

1 From where you begin in the area, go up the wooden planks on your left and climb up the ledge. Move a little to the right and jump forward on to the ledge of the platform with two doors.
2 Check the door on the left and Hakon will attack you.
3 Listen to Hakon
4 The same strategy applies to beating Hakon in the second clash. Just avoid his power attacks and keep your back away from any walls that can get you cornered.

Leave the church – Report to Frank

1 After dealing with Hakon, he will get up again. You will then need to decide to talk him out of fighting again or kill him for good (initiating a third battle). The decision you make here will affect the ending.
2 If you let Hakon live, Lawan will arrive and try to kill Hakon. You can talk her out of it as well or let her kill Hakon. These will also affect the ending you will get at the end of the game.
3 Head back to the Fish Eye and talk to Frank.
