Gigantuar
The Gigantuar is the biggest form of the Cactuar. The Gigantuar is a large cactus that is frozen in the running position and is a boss creature. To trigger its spawning, activate the Hunt: In the Drylands, It Rains Spines quest. That way, the Gigantuar will spawn along the Longwythe Rest area. Like any other Cactuar-based creature, this creature deals a fixed damage of 1000 per cast.
To defeat this creature, get out of its 1000 needle range before closing in. It’s like playing red light/green light. Wait for it to unleash its barrage of needles before closing in and striking it down.
