---|---|---|---|---|---|
☆☆☆☆☆ | 16~18 | 6~8 | 4~6 | 5~7 | 7~9 |
Stats wise she is similar to her own brother Reinhardt, however she sets herself apart by having less Attack at the cost of higher Speed. This can be mitigated by running Atk/Spd buffs passed from allies such as those granted through Hone Cavalry. This checks her lackluster attack, making her efficient in dealing quadruple hits each turn thanks to her Dire Thunder. Be wary however of opposing green units specifically those that have high Resistance as they prevent her from taking advantage of quadruple hits.

Strategy
Olwen has commendable Speed for a cavalry mage unit which helps her capitalize on using her “brave weapon+.” To offset her lackluster attack, it is more desirable to run an Attack boon Olwen alongside Hone Cavalry buff to deal some serious damage.
Looking at her default kit, Olwen fits on a team that needs both some offense and support for cavalry teams due to her built-in brave weapon and outstanding default passive skill Ward Cavalry. In addition she can secure safe spots through her Assist Reposition.
With the advent of Skill inheritance, she becomes a valuable learner of Luna with some generous amount of SP and inheritance investment when competing in the arena.
For the slot, she faces competition with her brother Reinhardt who also carries the same weapon, however she distinguishes herself due to a lower Atk at the cost of higher speed. This in a sense, gives her an opportunity to deal double damage with some Attack buff support on the side. However she is outclassed in terms of damage output, and thus is preferable as a cavalry support over offense.
Although she has phenomenal Speed, her HP coupled with mediocre Defense stat makes her particularly cautious when placed near melee damage units especially Bow and Dagger wielders.
She appreciates being placed in a cavalry team to spread her innate buff. Fellow cavalry units with Hone Cavalry and the color that patches up her weakness to green units are appreciated as these give her some offense while she reciprocates with her buff. Durable units range from Xander to Eldigan to sponge physical attacks from greens; while green units like Cecilia can run counter to other blue units that give Olwen trouble. You could make a case for green tome units by running Leo who can tank their hits thanks to his color advantage and durability on both defensive sides of the spectrum.
Counter
- Green units in general are advantageous against Olwen with their natural resistance to the color and especially if they carry high Resistance.
- Hector – Built with Distant Counter, he can retaliate high amounts of damage due to his attack stat and
- Julia – Despite failing to have her own mount, Julia has the advantage if she catches Olwen off-guard, thanks to her phenomenal Res stat coupled with the color advantage.
- Camilla – Similar traits with Julia but differs because she relies on Attack than Magic. She can easily get herself into position in maps where Olwen’s mount has trouble dealing with.
