Cecilia, born in a wealthy family, pursued studies in magic that allowed her to soon outstrip her peers. While many looked down on her, she instead continued forward. Soon, she received the title “Mage General” from her predecessor. At some point in time, she also became a teacher for both Roy and Lilina in Ostia.

Stats

Cecilia, as a cavalry, has an extended movement range. As a Tome wielder, she can deal heavy damage if the enemy has low RES. This works well against Archers such as Takumi and Virion should she encounter them. Many players often use her more as a glass cannon due to her low DEF, often shielding her with a tank.

Strategy

Cecilia works best against Colorless Heroes, making her a hard counter for Takumi if she stays alive. She can also target archers and other colorless weapons such as daggers and staff. She also is noted for her being a cavalry unit, giving her more mobility and chasing power than most. Her Gronnraven and Gronnraven+ deals extra damage against colorless heroes. Another is that she can attack at range.

Despite this however, she can be quite soft especially if faced against a Red/Sword like Lucina who has balanced stats or Eldigan who is a cavalry but as a Red/Sword. Lilina can also heavily counter Cecilia due to her high ATK along with Celica and Katarina. Caeda can also counter her due to her being a Pegasus Knight and a Red/Sword. Raigh can deal extra damage as he’s not only a tome but his weapon allows him to deal extra damage against her.

As for a build for Cecilia, one build can be to make her into a glass cannon. Since there are not many green tomes especially one’s with high mobility, Cecilia can become a moving, glass cannon. One skill to grant her is New Moon which attacks an enemy and assuming the enemy has a demerit of 30% on both RES and DEF. Her Escape Route pairs up with this skill rather well as it keeps her away from Red/Sword type enemies.

Another build to go with is to have her inherit Nino‘s Gronnblade+ which allows her to fully exploit her other passive effects such as Triangle Adept and her special skills.

Counter

• Celica – As a red tome, Celica boasts an extremely high ATK which can obliterate enemies. If she is paired with a pocket healer, she can consistently deal high damage which outstrips Cecilia.
• Katarina – Katarina‘s main asset lies on being a protected cannon. As long as she has allies surrounding her, she can easily outstrip Cecilia in terms of power.
• Eldigan – As a Cavalry, he can easily catch up with her. By using Fury, he can also deal heavy damage to her physical DEF. The fact that she also cannot counter attack within one space gives Eldigan a free hit.
• Lucina  – Lucina has balanced stats and Falchion which renews her HP every third turn. This may give Cecilia a hard time in taking her down.
• Mathilda – Mathilda has Ridersbane which deals heavy damage against Cavalry units.
• Raigh – If invested in, Raigh can deal heavy damage against Cavalry. At the same time, resist her attacks for being a red.
• Caeda – As a Pegasus Knight, Caeda already boasts high RES. As a Red/Sword, she deals heavy damage against Cecilia due to the latter’s low defense. She also has better chasing power due to being a Flier unit.
• Palla – As a Pegasus Knight, Palla has high RES and DEF against Tome users. As a Red/Sword, she deals heavy damage against Cecilia due to the latter’s low defense. She also has better chasing power due to being a Flier unit.
• Gray – Gray’s Zanbato deals extra damage to Cavalry.
