Highly regarded mage knight who fights for the army of Friege. Ready to help out his sister, Olwen. He first appears in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 and can be called upon in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Stats
Best placed on a Cavalry Team to allow him to spread Goad Cavalry buffs. Still, if the team desires to accommodate a hard-hitting blue tome user, Reinhardt can fulfill the role excellently. He has an edge over other Blue tome users due to his mobility, however because he sacrifices damage for the rest of his stats, he is vulnerable to Ranged damage during the enemy phase.

Strategy
Lives up to his name as a reverent Mage Knight, thanks to his exceptional ATK. He is a somewhat well rounded character which can put pressure not only offensively due to his default kit weapon, the Dire Thunder, is unique to only him and his sister, but defensively as well. If considering IVs, make sure he does not get an ATK bane. On the contrary, an ATK boon is the most desirable as it helps deal even more Ranged damage with his default Weapon.
Being likened to his sister Olwen, his base stats consist of a higher ATK with the other stats being subpar. Although he has Vantage in his default kit, his DEF does not help him exploit this tactic decently. Still his passive skill Goad Cavalry can help grant support even if his other Cavalry teammates are out of reach.
With the introduction of Skill Inheritance, he appreciates learning Death Blow 3 to help him score knockouts before succumbing to them himself. Handing him Moonbow would also help to deal destructive damage early on in the game, notably if he is assigned to compete in the Arena, however Luna and Bonfire make superior choices because of his “Brave” weapon classification.
Choice of allies boils down to those that provide cover against Green Tomes that Reinhardt has trouble dealing with. Celica who is blessed with Distant DEF can easily sponge any attacks aimed at Reinhardt, and can finish off green units such as Julia or Hector. Reinhardt will also appreciate support from Dancer/ Singers such as Olivia to spread more Brave weapon damage before the turn ends.
Counter
- Julia – Thanks to her high RES, she can soak up a Dire Thunder and retaliate back significant damage on Reinhardt’s mediocre RES.
- Hector – A RES boon invested Hector should be able to take Dire Thunder and hit back with Distant Counter.
