How to Get Ability Patches in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
What are Ability Patches?
Ability Patches are a type of rare consumable item Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Pokemon SV) that changes a Pokemon’s standard Ability into its Hidden Ability. The item is among the most useful consumables for competitive play, allowing you to tailor fit a Pokemon’s kit to suit its role in the team.
Note that Ability Patches can only be used by Pokemon that belong to species with Hidden Abilities. It will not work on Pokemon who do not have Hidden Abilities.
Rare Reward from 6★ Tera Raid Battles and Above.
Ability Patches are rare rewards from Tera Raid Battles with a star level of 6 and above. They are extremely hard to come by so you may end up running several Tera Raid Battles just to get one to drop. Try assembling a group of friends to grind Raids with you to farm Ability Patches as often as possible.
