The Academy within Mesagoza is one difference between the two versions. This academy is where you enroll and meet your friends and rivals at the start of the game. As a result, the clothing of your character, your opponents, and your teachers’ changes depending on the game.

Scarlet enrolls in the Naranja Academy. In Violet, you enroll at the Uva Academy.

Rideable Pokémon
