How to Unlock IV Checker Feature in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
What is the IV Checker Feature?
The IV checker feature or Judge Function in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Pokemon SV) lets you view your Pokemon’s Individual Values (IVs) in the game. This function is extremely useful for competitive play, as players often spend time building Pokemon teams with the best stats for their role.
Beat the Game to Unlock
Clear the main story (including Victory Road, Legend, Starfall Street, and Homeway Routes)
The IV checker feature can only be accessed after you clear the game’s main story. This requires you to clear the Victory Road, Legend, Starfall Street, and Homeway story routes to be able to check IVs in the game.
How to Check IVs
Can be done at any Pokemon Center
Head to any Pokemon Center and speak to the attendant at the counter to check your Pokemon’s IVs. The highest IV stat will be indicated by a “V”, while those which are are one step lower from the highest are marked with “U”.
