Money Farming Guide for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Pokemon SV), the primary form of currency is Pokedollars which used to purchase items from shops or avail of other useful services in the game. While going through the game’s main story, try to spend time farming money so you can freely purchase healing items and other tools to use in battle.
Ways to Earn Money
Win Pokemon battles.
You will earn money by winning Pokemon battles against wild Pokemon and those used by Pokemon Trainers encountered during the main story.
Simply progressing through each city to collect Gym Badges from Gym Leaders will allow you to earn a decent amount of Pokedollars, though will want to turn to other means if you want to consistently stock up on useful consumables during your journey.
Do Tera Raid Battles.
Tera Raid Battles are another good way to get money fast in the game. While exploring the map, look for shining crystal formations jutting from the ground to challenge a powerful Tera Pokemon contained within it.
Note that you can battle the Tera Pokemon with other players online or solo, the latter being more difficult. Clearing the Raid Battle, you will earn League Points (LP) and various useful rewards.
Do Team Star Training Center battles (Post-Game).
You can also earn a lot of money if you defeat rival Trainers at the Team Star Training Center after clearing the main story. Note that you will be up against Team Star bosses at their full strength so try to bring your best team before taking them on.
Sell off unwanted or unusable items at shops.
You can also offload items you do not need or those that do not have any particular use in the game to earn some money as well. Nuggets, which are sometimes rewarded for clearing 4★ to 6★ Tera Raid Battles, have no other purpose than to simply be sold off for a lot of Pokedollars at shops.

Tips for Farming Money
Obtain the Amulet Coin.
The Amulet Coin is a Held Item that increases the prize money you earn in battle. You can get the Amulet Coin from the Pokemon League Rep at Medali Town (Larry, the Normal Gym Leader’s town).
