Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Characters List
Game Overview
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet (ポケットモンスター スカーレット・バイオレット), the latest installments in the Pokémon series was released worldwide on November 18th, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch . With these new titles, the Pokémon series evolves further, allowing you to explore a richly expressed open world freely.
Various towns blend seamlessly into the wilderness. Pokémon from this region can be found in the skies, seas, forests, and streets—everywhere! The true joy of the Pokémon series will be available in an open-world game for players of all ages: battling against wild Pokémon in order to catch them.
Look into a New Open-World Pokémon Adventure in Paldea Region!
In the Paldea Region, a vast land filled with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, small towns, and sprawling cities, you can catch, battle, and train Pokémon.
Explore a vast open world at your own pace while riding a form-shifting Legendary Pokémon—Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Miraidon in Pokémon Violet.
Before embarking on your journey through Paldea, choose between Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly as your first partner Pokémon.
Choose Your Own Path to Champion Status, Compete Against Team Star, and Battle Titan Pokémon!
Your Paldea adventure has no set path, so you can weave freely through your Treasure Hunt, which consists of three grand stories.
Along Victory Road, you will challenge Gyms in various locations with the goal of reaching Champion Rank.
Take on Titan Pokémon that guard rare ingredients on the Path of Legends.
In Starfall Street, you’ll use the new Auto-Battle feature to battle Team Star grunts from your school in order to get to their boss.
Due to the Terastal Phenomenon, you will come across Pokémon that shine and glimmer.
Pokémon in the Paldea region can Terastallize, giving them a gemstone-like appearance and special power. Every Pokémon has a Tera Type that is dormant until the Pokémon Terastallizes.
Most Eevee, for example, will have a Normal Tera Type, but some Eevee will have a Water Tera Type!
When a Terastallized Pokémon uses a move that matches its Tera Type, the power of that move is increased even more! Terastallizing determines whether a battle is won or lost in the Paldea region.
