What is the Ranked Battle Series?

“Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Ranked Battles allow you to test your Trainer skills in head-to-head battles with players around the world. Each Trainer’s skill in battle is tracked by their rank, which changes based on the Trainer’s battle results. Trainers are matched up with other players of similar rank to ensure even competition.”

Paradox Pokemon
All Paradox Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are banned from Ranked Battle Series 1.

How to Get All Legendary Pokemon
Non-Paldea Pokedex Pokemon
All Pokemon that are not part of the Paldea Pokedex are banned from Ranked Battle Series 1.
Eligible Pokemon for Ranked Battle Series 1
All Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex except Legendary Pokemon, Paradox Pokemon, and non-Paldea region Pokemon are eligible for use in Ranked Battle Series 1.
Ranked Battle Series Season 1 Rewards
When the current Ranked Battle season ends with the announcement of results, you will get rewards based on your Ball Tier (season rank). You have to finish at least one match with a win or loss during the season to be eligible for Season 1 rewards.

Participation Rewards
Each time you win a ranked battle, you will get 1,000 League Points. Going up a rank within a Ball Tier, meanwhile, will give you 10,000 League Points. Finally, going up to the next Ball Tier will give you 20,000 League Points.
Ranked Battle Series 1 Rules
- Total Time: 20 minutes
- Player Time: 7 minutes
- Team Preview Time: 90 seconds
- Turn Time: 45 seconds
- Single Battle: Team of 3 to 6 Pokemon (All Pokemon automatically set to Level 50)
- Double Battle: Team of 4 to 6 Pokemon (All Pokemon automatically set to Level 50)
