When the main series of Pokémon games are released, they are released in pairs. Scarlet and Violet, the most recent installment, is no exception, introducing version-exclusive Pokémon and other miscellaneous features. The different professors you meet in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are one change for Version Exclusives. Professor Sada appears in Pokémon Scarlet, dressed more traditionally. While Professor Turo, who wears futuristic clothing, will assist you in Pokémon Violet.

The Academy within Mesagoza is one difference between the two versions. This academy is where you enroll and meet your friends and rivals at the start of the game. As a result, the clothing of your character, your opponents, and your teachers’ changes depending on the game.
Scarlet enrolls in the Naranja Academy. In Violet, you enroll at the Uva Academy.

Even though not technically a version exclusive in terms of usable Pokémon, you can ride on a Pokémon throughout the game, most notably Koraidon in Scarlet and Miraidon in Violet.
