How to Raise Player Level

To raise your Player Level, you must earn experience by participating in online battles (requires an internet connection and subscription to Nintendo Online). Head to the Lobby in Splatsville after clearing the game’s tutorial to join a multiplayer session.

Splatsville Shops and Facilities

Level	Unlocks	Details
2	Ammo Knights	Weapons shop run by Sheldon. Allows you to purchase weapons using Sheldon Licenses. More items become available at the shop by raising Player Level.
4	Hotlantis	Item and cosmetics shop run by Harmony. Also rewards a Catalog upon reaching level 4.
	Naute Couture	Headgear shop run by Gnarly Eddy and Nails.
	Man-o’-Wardrobe	Clothing shop run by Jel La Fleur.
	Crush Station	Footwear shop run by Mr. Coco.
	Murch’s Services	Murch offering various useful services related to abilities such as raising gear Star Power, slotting in secondary abilities, swapping out primary abilities, and reshuffling ability slot. Requires Super Sea Snails to avail of his services.
