Amiibo Guide for Splatoon 3

A guide on how to use the amiibo figures and unlockable rewards in Splatoon 3. The game will be released this coming September 9th, 2022 and there’s a feature in the game where you can use and scan your amiibo to claim rewards and other exclusive items.

How to Use amiibo

To scan an amiibo figure, head over to the Splatsville and locate the big Splatoon amiibo box after clearing the game’s tutorial section. It is also located near where your character usually spawns in the game.

How to Scan

You just need to interact with the box and it will give you an instruction to place the amiibo figure on your Joy Con’s scanner to access the special bonuses and rewards.

Save your Freshest Fits

After scanning an amiibo figure, you can now save you freshest hits that lets you swap outfits easily as it serves like a save slots for your favorite gear combinations.

Take photos with the characters

You can also snap some photos along with the Splatoon series amiibo characters and be creative with your poses and angles as you may save them in your gallery.
