Character Customization Guide for Splatoon 3
Once you start a new game in Splatoon 3, the first thing that all players needs to go through is to customize your in-game character. There are a lot of ways to personalize your character and there are also new features along with some returning styles from the previous titles such as Splatoon and Splatoon 2. This guide will discuss the details of character customization in the new game and the different options that you can choose from.
Style
The first customization option for your character is the style, the are four (4) choices for this option that refers to the available two (2) species in Splatoon 3 which are also non-gender specific, they are the: Inklings and Octolings.

Skin Tone
After picking a style, the next one would be your skin tone. There are a total of nine (9) different tone options which ranges from light to dark.
Eye Color
There are a lot of eye colors that you can choose for your character, there are a total of twenty-six (26) different eyes that varies from colorful shades.
Haircut and Brows
The hairstyles for your character depends on which style you chose earlier, there are a total of twenty-three (23) different hair cuts and you can also change it later while in game using the Player Options menu. It is also important to note that you cannot change or pick your character’s hair color in the game.

The eyebrow styles for your character have four (4) different options available, it varies from being thin to thick as well as arched, straight, or has cut slit.

Legwear
The last thing that you can customize in your character’s style if the legwear, there are nine (9) selections that you can choose from which consists of shorts, pants, skirt, and leggings.
Lastly, Smallfry
And yes, you can also customize the look of your little buddy in-game during your character customization. There will be seven (7) different hairstyles for Smallfry that you can choose from and this is the only part of its appearance that you can change.
Changing your Gear
After getting into the game and finishing up the tutorial, you can change your gear and purchase different outfits for your character. We also have a list and guide for all gear equipment and brands.
Customize your Splashtag
All users have their very own splashtag and they can get to choose which Titles, Banner, and Badges they want to display in their in-game profile.
