Trico Basic Guide
In the Last Guardian, the young boy (the player) meets and befriends the mysterious creature Trico. Over the course of your journey, you and Trico will need to work together while exploring the world around you. Get to know more about Trico and how you two can interact with and get through the challenges that lie ahead on your adventure.
Commanding Trico
To get through certain obstacles, you will have to learn how to command Trico. Below is a list of the basic commands that you can ask Trico to do.

| Hold R1 + O button | Tell Trico to stand/Praise Trico |
| Hold R1 + △ Button | Tell Trico to perform a stomp |
| Hold R1 + □ Button | Tell Trico to perform a swipe |
| Hold R1 + Direction | Tell Trico to go to the area you’re pointing |
Trico’s Mood
Trico’s mood can be observed based on the color of his eyes. Below is a list you can use to tell Trico’s mood during the game.
