How to Change the Time in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (XC 3) has an in-game time which cycles between day and night. Knowing how to manipulate time is particularly useful for hunting certain monsters in the game which appear during specific windows of each day.
Change the Time from the Main Menu
You can change the time in the game by going to the main menu. Afterwards, use the L and R buttons to adjust the current time to your preferences.
Changing the time in the game does not affect your Nintendo Switch device’s system clock. Because of this, feel free to advance the time as much as you want.

Time of Day and Monster Spawns
As mentioned, the current time of day affects the type of monsters that appear in various areas of the game. This means that you should fast-forward the time in the game if you are hunting a specific monster that spawns during a certain window during the day or night.
