Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (XC 3) has an in-game time which cycles between day and night. Knowing how to manipulate time is particularly useful for hunting certain monsters in the game which appear during specific windows of each day.

Change the Time from the Main Menu

You can change the time in the game by going to the main menu. Afterwards, use the L and R buttons to adjust the current time to your preferences.

NOTE

Changing the time in the game does not affect your Nintendo Switch device’s system clock. Because of this, feel free to advance the time as much as you want.
