Getting to the First Bonfire

・From the Abyss Watchers bonfire, go down the stairs.
・Upon reaching your first branch, make a left for 2 Carthus Rouge.
・Proceed through the walkway and eventually you will find a place to drop down on your left and it will lead you to the area where you can find the Carthus Pyromancy Tome.
・Go into the next room and up the stairs to your left for a Soul of a Nameless Soldier.
・Go up the stairs and down the ladder to your left for a Soul of a Nameless Soldier.
・Once you reach a hall you will find a illusory wall to your right where you can find the Carthus Pyromancy Tome. ・Also at that hall you can find a Sharp Gem.
・The Next room will have staris and in the corner you can find 2 Titanite Shards.
・Go into the hallway once up the stairs. Watch out for the 4 skeletons as they will all come up at once.
・Go down the stairs as you make your way through and you will find Anri who says she is looking for Horace. If you have found Horace already you can tell her where he is.
・From that hallway go out into the open area and you will find a Crystal Lizard. Defeat it for a Twinkling Titanite. You will also find 3 Bloodred Moss Clump nearby.
・Go back until you reach the long staircase. You can find a Ember on one of the platforms where you can dodge the skeleton balls.
・Go down the stairs and kill the skeleton wearing a hat to your right and that will cause the skeleton ball to break being able to loot a Undead Bone Shard.
・Take a right at the hallway and break through the pots to your right for the Carthus Milkring. Try not to break the small pots with lids as they will create a spell that can damage you.
・As you make your way down the hallway you will find a Large Soul of an Unknown Traveler. Drop down the hole in the floor for an Ember.
・Make your way into the left hallway and watch out for the skeleton ball. You can find a Large Titanite Shard to your left. Go into the left hallway for Catacombs of Carthus bonfire.

Getting to the Boss

・Avoid the skeleton ball and go down the stairs.
・As you reach the big room go right and you will see the bonewheels.
・Make your way through and you will find 2 Titanite Shard. As you pick this up slugs will come falling down from the roof. At the very end you can find the Carthus Bloodring.
・Go back to the big room with the bonewheel and down the staris you see for an Ember. Defeat dark spirit Knight Slayer Tsorig for Knight Slayer’s Ring.
・Make your way back to the big room and go left for 2 Titanite Shards. Go up the stairs and you will find 3 Carthus Rouge to your right. Go into the hallway on the opposite direction for a Large Titanite Shard and the Grave Warden’s Ashes. Go down the stairs and kill the Skeleton wearing a hat causing the skeleton ball to break for a Dark Gem.
・Go back to the big room and head left into a broken wall and you will find a Crystal lizard as you make your way through. Defeat it for a Fire Gem.
・Once you are out in the open go left for 3 Yellow Bug Pellets.
・Back frpm where you entered go right into a small chamber where you can find a Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier and 2 Black Bug Pellets. Pull the lever to open a shortcut.
・As you make your way across the bridge, the skeletons will come chasing after you. Hit one of the ropes once you made it across and the bridge will collapse.
・Open the door and touch the goblet to activate the boss fight.
・Near the boss you can find the Grave Warden Pyromancy Tome.
・Defeat the boss for Soul of High Lord Wolnir.
・Light High Lorf Wolnir bonfire.

Going Down the Collapsed Bridge

・Get close to the bridge you took down and you should be able to to climb down it.
・As you proceed you will find a Fire Demon. Defeat it for Soul of a Demon.
・In the chamber you can find a mimic. Defeat it for a Black Blade.
・Go down the stairs to where the Fire Demon is to find a Large Titanite Shard and a Soul of a Nameless Soldier.
・GO down the staris further for the Witch’s Ring and Old Sage’s Blindfold.
・Make your way into the small room to the right for Abandoned Tomb bonfire.
・The area ahead will be the Smouldering Lakes.

Boss Fight Strategy

・A giant skeleton king.
・Attack the bracelets he has on his arms and they will eventually break one at a time dealing massive damage.
・He will have 1 bracelet on his right arm and 2 on his left arm.
・After you destory one of his bracelet he will breath out a black mist and skeletons will start to spawn.
・After a while he will wield a sword in his right hand. However this can be avoided by defeating him quick enough.
・Try to deal as much damage as possible before he spawns in skeletons as it will make the boss fight much eaiser.

Events

・After completeing the Cathedral of the Deep area go into the room with 2 large skeletons just before the long staircase with the rolling skeleton ball and you will find Anri.
・Talk to Anri and she will tell you that she is looking for Horace. Tell Anri that you don’t know where he is. She will ask you to let her know where Horace is.
・From the Abandoned Tomb bonfire, go to Smouldering Lakes.
・Walk along the right wall and you will find a alcove where you can find 2 Crystal Lizards. The alcove can be found before you reach the giant crabs.
・Inside you will find Horace who has become a hollow. Defeating him will grant you the Llewellyn Shield.
・Go back to Catacombs of Carthus and talk to Anri. She can be found along the rocky path in the room with the wooden bridge. From where you can find the ledge that offers an alternate path, go right and you will find her.
・Tell her that you found Horace at Smouldering Lakes and she will give you the Ring of the Evil Eye.
・After defeating High Lord Wolnir if you go to the place where you found Horace you can find his grave.
・If you tell Anri where Horace is without defeating him, you will find her dead where Horace was. So you have to kill Horace before telling Anri where he is.
・If you defeat High Lord Wolnir before telling Anri where Horace is then she will Travel to Irithyll of the Boreal Valley and her questline will no longer be active.

Thunder Stoneplate Ring +1 at the area where you can find the Carthus Milkring.

Ring of Steel Protection +2 on top of the pillar to the left of the big bridge you come across just as you enter this area.
