Jahagaros
Jahagaros is the strongest demon servant of Lord Rhapthorne introduced in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII. This section covers strategy on how to beat Jahagaros.

Strategy
Jahagaros’ first form is not too hard to deal with. His Normal Attack deals around 100 damage, while his Desperate Attack does about 270-300 damage Lightning will hit for around 100 damage four times. Take the time to heal up when you need to since he only attacks once in this form.

Strategy
Jahagaros’ second form can now attack twice per turn. His Kaswoosh is quite weak, but he may Throw a Huge Rock which does 150 to 170 damage to the entire party.
Be ready to heal up once Jahagaros uses Powered Fist which will paralyze its target. Be quick to respond to this with the Hero or Angelo’s Tingle spells.
The recommended level for fighting Jahagaros is 40 to 45. With Mini Medals, you may be able to manage at slightly lower levels. Having the following may also help you survive the fight:
- Sage’s Stone
- Omniheal Spell (Hero)
- Kazing Spell (Angelo, Jessica and Morrie)
- Meteorite Bracer
where is the dungeon located? is it in the american version?
First you have to go to neos after the dark citadel rises up, jessica will have a vision, then go to visit the dragon’s graveyard and go to the crystal ball room. Lastly go to the field where you obtain the ship, there is a hole on the mountain.
