How to Hire Online Pawns Guide for Dragon’s Dogma 2
Collect Rift Crystals (RC).
Rift Crystals are the currency used to hire pawns in the Rift. They can be obtained by defeating monsters, opening treasure chests, and sometimes as quest rewards. Dragon’s Dogma 2 How to Get Rift Crystals (RC)
Enter the Rift.
You can enter the Rift by interacting with or examining Rift Stones. They have a unique structure compared to other stones and have a noticeable glowing light. Aside from that, Rift Stones are mostly found near camps and towns.
Check out other players’ Pawns.
While inside the Rift, you will be able to view Pawns that are available to hire. You can check their stats, equipment, vocations, and other important aspects to consider when hiring a Pawn.
Pick a Pawn to hire.
Hire the Pawn that you think will be a great fit for your party. It is highly recommended to pick out those that can cover your party’s weaknesses or those that have unique abilities and specializations. Note that you can hire up to 2 Pawns and have a total of 3 Pawns at your party, allowing you to cover pretty much what your playstyle or party needs.
Unique Pawns and Guest Pawns are powerful but expensive.
Hiring Unique Pawns and Guest Pawns is a great way to increase the firepower of your party. However, they are expensive and require a lot of Rift Crystals (RC), but they are extremely useful when fighting tough monsters and when exploring at night.
