Dragon’s Dogma 2 on the PC (Steam) offers the best graphical experience out of all available platforms as it has been confirmed to offer up to 60 FPS with the appropriate hardware.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, however, are stated to average around 30 FPS, though uncapped framerates have been confirmed by the developers in previous interviews.

No actual load time numbers have been revealed so far, though it is safe to say that the PC (Steam) port of the game will likely outpace both the PS5 and PC through the use of a high-end SSD.

While the file sizes for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Dragon’s Dogma 2 have been confirmed, there is still no official information on the required storage space to install the game on PC. Furthermore, the game’s Steam product page has not yet listed the storage space required for installation.

Controller Compatibility
Keyboard and Mouse
While it is assumed that keyboard and mouse controls will be supported on all platforms, the experience on playing on the non-controller option will be more seamless on the PC version of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
In addition, players can always use a compatible gamepad on the desktop version of the game should they prefer it over mouse and keyboard controls.
Use of Licensed Controllers
It should also be noted that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles only support officially-licensed hardware, making the range of usable controllers on these platforms more limited than on the PC version.

All platforms will allow you to switch between English and Japanese in-game audio. Only the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions, however, support Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese text.

Refund Procedures
All platforms allow players to refund their purchase of games through certain conditions. It is, however, recommended to purchase the Steam version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PC as you will be able to refund the game if you have not played it for more than 2 hours after purchase.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not be on Game Pass at launch.
Not available in the subscription service on March 22.
Note that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not be available on Xbox’s Game Pass subscription service on the game’s launch on March 22nd, 2024. There is currently no way to play the game outside of purchasing it from Steam, PlayStation Store, or Microsoft Store.

PC (Steam)
Based on the various criteria listed on this article, the PC (Steam) version of Dragon’s Dogma offers the best potential experience out of all available platforms.
This conclusion, however, assumes that users have access to the appropriate hardware to run the game in the highest graphical performance settings (resolution and framerate) and processing time possible.
Other criteria such as keyboard and mouse compatibility, exclusive Official Pawns, and available languages in the Steam port of the game also far surpass those of the console versions.
