How to Unlock Warfarer Vocation (Class) in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Unlocked after clearing the side quest The Sotted Sage at Volcanic Island Camp Hotsprings.
The Warfarer vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is unlocked once you clear the side quest The Sotted Sage which becomes available after speaking to Lamond at the Volcanic Island Camp Hotsprings.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Side Quests List and Guides
The side quest requires you to give Lamond Newt Liqueur which can be crafted using the materials below.
How to Craft Newt Liqueur

Alternatively, you can also get Newt Liqueur at Gautstafr’s house during the side quest Put a Spring in Thy Step at the Volcanic Island. Gautstafr is the friendly Dwarf married to the Elf Cliodhna who gives you access to the Magick Archer vocation once you clear the quest.
Another bottle of Newt Liqueur can also be obtained at Laboratorium Chemical Stores of the Forbidden Magick Research Lab found under Flamebearer Palace.
After giving Lamond enough bottles of Newt Liqueur, the Warfarer vocation will become unlockable at the Vocation Guild by spending the required amount of Dcp.

Rearmament (Skill)
Among the skills exclusive to the Warfarer vocation is Rearmament which lets them easily swap weapons in combat. This allows near-endless customization for the Arisen as you are able to use any armament exclusive to all other jobs in the game.

Zeal and Dynamism (Augments)
Unlocking the Warfarer vocation also gives you access to the Zeal and Dynamism Augment skills which grant incredible stamina efficiency and unhindered movement even when at heavy load capacity.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Warfarer Vocation Augment Skills
Can equip up to 9 different weapons.
The Warfarer class is able to equip up to 9 different weapons at a time, allowing them to adapt to almost any situation in battle.
Can only have 3 weapon skills at a time.
The Warfarer can only be assigned up to 3 weapon skills from any vocation at a time. While this may seem quite limiting for such a flexible class, the possible synergies between certain skill combinations grant the Warfarer interesting playstyles not available to any other vocation in the game.
Lower stats compared to other vocations.
The Warfarer’s vocation stats are adjusted to be significantly lower than most other classes in the game as likely a trade-off for its unmatched versatility. This means that you will need to compensate by using upgraded gear and equipping accessories that boost your combat performance.
