Dragon’s Dogma 2 Day and Night Cycle Guide
Serves as guides during quests or exploration.
Aside from assisting you in battle, the Pawns will also serve as guides in quests and exploration, and maybe in some other aspects of the game as well. Because Dragon’s Dogma 2 does not provide quest indicators or markers, the Pawns will be your guide to locate and determine the quest-related objectives or other important tasks in the game.
Share Pawns with other players.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 also features a borrow and share mechanic, which allows players to hire Pawns owned by other players. Once someone hires your Pawn, they will gain experience and knowledge about the quest that the borrowing player has completed. This also applies to you whenever you borrow a Pawn from other players.
Can you bring more than 1 Pawn in your party?
Yes, in fact, you can have a total of three Pawns in your party. Your party can be composed of your very own Main Pawn, and two more hired or borrowed Pawns from other players in the game.
What happens if your Pawn gets defeated in battle?
If your Pawn gets defeated during a battle, he or she will be in an immobilized state and won’t be able to move. Approach and touch your Pawn to bring him or her back up, but if you leave your Pawn immobilized or downed for a long time, you will need to revive or summon your Pawn through a Rift Stone.
Pawn Specializations
Pawn Specializations is a new feature in Dragon’s Dogma 2. It allows the Pawns to acquire abilities, such as translating Elvish into your understanding. Because of this new feature, players will be able to utilize their Pawns not just for battle but also in other important aspects of the game.

Dragonsplague
Dragonsplague is a contagious disease that infects the Pawns when they travel between worlds. However, unlike most diseases where the infected get weak, Dragonsplague somehow strengthens and enhances the performance of the Pawns.
Despite the unlikely positive effects of the Dragonsplague, it still comes with a negative effect, such as a sudden change in their speech and more aggressive behavior. As of now, we are unsure of how grave the Dragonsplague can be, but we are sure that the players will soon unfold the mystery behind this disease.
