Dynoaevis
The Dynoaevis lurks around Cauthess and spawns during The Archaean quest. Unlike the Daggerquill, the Dynoaevis is bigger in form. Its appearance is more relatable to that of a vulture rather than a regular bird. Its breast is white and has red markings on its face along with a white beak. The rest of its body is covered with black feathers that fan out in different directions. It has a large beak shaped similarly to that of the Vulture which it uses to peck. It has some resemblance to the Zuu model from Final Fantasy IX except smaller in form.
This avian creature is slower than the Daggerquill thus easier to land a warpstrike on. To bring it down, break the wings and ground the creature before going in for the finishing blow.
