Ignis is one of Noctis’ childhood friends. His identifying trait is are the spectacles that he wears.
He is the tactician of the next heir to the throne, Noctis of the Lucis royal family.
Since Ignis has received formal education, he is adept at offering advice and has been the team’s “brain.” In addition, Ignis knows how to make healthy meals as he has been familiar with this role during his service to Noctis.
He fulfills the role of the party’s driver and chef during the adventure. He supports the team, being Noctis’ right-hand man during combat, by offering advice on handling the encountered enemy.
With all these considered, Ignis is a valuable asset to the team as he acts as the group’s consultant. Unlike the others of the team, he can maintain his composure and is more serious in terms of handling affairs.
