Eirika has fantastic Speed and moderate Resistance to function as a decent tank. She unfortunately struggles against duels with offensive units due to her measly Attack stat. Having her exchange attacks with others usually result in failing to ORKO them, making them particularly deadly to the other more frail units at the back line if they come within range.

Strategy

In terms of stats, Eirika excels in Speed and has moderate Res to sustain when dealing with tome units and certain dragonstone bearers. For Skills, Eirika fits well in a team that requires support through Hone Spd 3 which immediately buffs allies from the start. Weapons-wise, her Sieglinde also has a built-in support trait, making her excellent to boost both Atk and Speed.

One of her drawbacks is that she fares better as a support unit rather than doubling as offense. With a terrible Attack stat she is vulnerable to most combat encounters, failing to retaliate with ease. She faces competition for a sword unit slot against others such as Lucina who has higher Attack.

If Skill inheritance is accounted for, she takes advantage of Fury 3 or Triangle Adept 3 to bolster her Attack further which is excellent if she acquires either an Attack or Speed boon. Passing her the latter makes Eirika effective in dealing with durable green enemies. In conjunction with Swordbreaker 3, she not only handles greens but also stops opposing sword fighters to bestow her with more sustainability.

She is suitable teammate for those that require spread buffs and can cover her weakness to Blue tome units. Nino makes a great teammate because of her Bladetome built-in, and with turn buffs from Eirika’s weapon and Passive, powers up her offensive capability further. Because of Eirika’s role in the team, she can fit well to most teams that is filled with green units. Apart from tome units, Hector is another choice due to his Distant Counter skill.

Counter

  • Linde – In cases where Linde is built as a Speed boon, she can easily prey on Eirika’s moderate Res due to her significant Attack stat.
  • Robin M – Shares the same color class as Linde, he reaches up to max 32 Atk when he acquires an Atk boon which is equivalent to Linde’s Atk bane build.
  • Ephraim – In war, Ephraim beats his sister due to his color advantage and high Atk and Def stats. In addition, his presence alone is threatening as he can equally buff his teammates to deal Ranged damage to Eirika.
