A reliable ally that fares well against green tome units owing to her significant Magic attack stat and moderate Resistance. However these come at a price of being a frail unit similar to Delthea and Lilina. She unfortunately struggles in the Speed department granted that her max neutral Speed caps at 26.

Strategy

The Empress of Begnion functions as an anti-green tome infantry thanks to her Attack and Resistance stats. She is equipped with the Cymbeline which doubles as an Attack buff to nearby allies provided that they are in position after she engages in combat.

Stats-wise, Sanaki is most suitable to run an Attack boon to improve her offensive capability further. Her default kit is decent, with Cymbeline juggling both offense and support, while her Harsh Command assist reverts penalties to deter debuffing units. She also learns Triangle Adept 3 to deal with green units better, giving her coverage alongside her support skills.

When factoring skill inheritance, she makes great use of Rauðrraven+ to deter low Resistance colorless units, especially those who she can outspeed. To combat fellow red tome units, she appreciates learning R Tomebreaker 3. Otherwise, for added sustainability against physical units, she can also run Swordbreaker 3. Those who wish to use her in the arena can opt to add Moonbow to easily land powerful attacks against the green tome units that pester any blue allies.

However, she dislikes facing against melee units such as Bow and Archer classes. Due to her terrible durability in the physical side, she cannot afford to sustain damage even from triangle disadvantageous green axe units. Also her Speed is lackluster, as a result she becomes an easy target for multi-hitting units.

Sanaki deters green tome units due to her great stats. Team composition consists of covering each other’s weaknesses. In order to do this, Sanaki requires pairing with blue tome units such as Delthea and Reinhardt who reciprocate by dealing with red and some blue units. Sanaki also appreciates Dancers/Singers to move out of a dagger or Bow type unit’s range.

Counter

  • Sanaki easily falls prey to melee units because of her poor defense stats. Apart from that, despite her commendable Res, the triangle disadvantage makes her vulnerable against Blue tome units who usually sport high Magic attacks.
  • Delthea – Sharing the same class, her monstrous Attack, insane Speed, and color puts her in a favorable situation to plow through Sanaki’s Resistance.
  • Kagero – Wielding a deadly weapon, she gains the “triangle advantage” to score a OHKO regardless of HP boon thanks to the effective bonus, and her Speed, and Attack.
