Virion is the former duke of Rosanne, a fallen province of Valm. He appears to be confident in his ability as an archer. Virion believes that he is the one who put “arch” in the word “archer”.
Stats
At Level 1, Virion appears as one of the first heroes you summon. Because of this, his attack is highly valued especially for its long range. Although he has a low speed, he still can take out flying enemies that are soaring around. He’s what someone would deem as an anti-air character.

Strategy
Virion is a cheaper alternative to Takumi and Jeorge. Both who are powerful archers in their own right. What makes Virion powerful is Astra and his ability to decrease the speed of the enemy. As the enemy slows down, Virion can stick two arrows into the enemy’s gob and finish him off. He can also withstand damage from opposing mages, allowing him to take them out before they do.
One build he can go for is the Tomebreaker Build. As a Tomebreaker, he can take advantage of his Defiant Res skill while dealing more damage to tome users. As a physical hitter, he can deal heavy damage to mages especially as they clash. Astra can also help finish them off before they hide behind another enemy.
Virion can also inherit Close Counter from Takumi, allowing him to constantly counterattack. Pairing that skill with Vantage, it makes him downright terrifying to face on the battlefield.
Counters
- Kagero – Kagero has Poison Dagger and Poison Dagger+ which grants her increased damage against Infantry. As a colorless Dagger, she also has a 2 space range which allows her to reach Virion. If Kagero also has Vantage, she can outstrip Virion before he can attack her. The more Virion damages her, the strong Kagero’s Retribution hits.
- Draug – As an armored unit, he can soak up a lot of physical damage.
- Hektor – As an armored unit, he can soak up a lot of physical damage. Virion’s ATK is no match for Hektor who can also reflect that damage straight at him.
