What is Gald?
Gald is the currency in Tales of Berseria. When you want to buy something, people exchange it for Gald. Unlike the past Tales games however, Gald is a little harder to farm for in Tales of Berseria. Most of the time, these items come in random drops. While finishing your sidequests, these items can drop from monsters or even picked up along the way.
Since you’ll be travelling more often than not, there are bound to be some items that will drop along the way. When farming for these items, make sure you know what’s important or not. Otherwise, you may make a mistake in selling the item you needed!
Earning Gald
Earning gald in Tales of Berseria means you should explore the sea frequently. You’ll find in your item menu some “Cash Items,” which has no use for selling. You can sell them all for a high bargain!
Marine Mammal Parts, available at the Pirate Flag sells at a high price. As long as you comb the seas, you can explore difficult areas, regardless of your party’s level. Therefore, as you sail through the seas, you can earn a large amount of gald.
