Personality:

An innocent-looking child at first glance, Laphicet is timid, shy and unwilling to open up to those around him. Enslaved by The Exorcists and used as nothing more than a living magical implement, he initially appears devoid of any emotion and sense of identity. This all changes when he meets Velvet Crowe and her party. From there, Laphicet begins to develop a more ‘human’ personality, and his own reasons for fighting.

History:

As a descendant of a mysterious race of spiritual beings known as the Malakim, Laphicet was captured by The Exorcists and coerced into their service. He is given the handle “Number Two” by Exorcist Praetor Teresa Linares and forced to use his command of the Malak Artes to advance the organization’s goals. As only a tool for the Exorcists, Laphicet has no trace of sentiment to anything other than his orders.

After an encounter with Velvet Crowe, in which they were on opposing sides, Laphicet starts to freely display emotion and empathy. He is given the name Laphicet by Velvet, taken after her younger brother Laphicet Crowe.

Fighting Style:

Laphicet’s forte is using support Artes. If he is tasked to function for combat, he wields paper class weapons. He has access to several long-range Holy Servant Artes making him better off avoiding close quarters.

Stats:

In combat, Laphicet uses powerful Magical Artes to engage enemies from a distance, or provide support for his allies.

His Soul Break Divide Pain generates a magical field that reduces the damage to the party while healing them. His Switch Blast is Seer’s Storm where Laphicet conjures a barrage of paper to attack enemies. Among his Mystic Artes are Bind Order, Chaos Bloom and Indignation. He and velvet share a Dual Mystic Arte called Innumerable Wound as well.
