Personality:

Seres once faithfully accompanied Artorius wherever he went. She believed strongly in his ways until seeing the results of his choices. This causes her to begin to question her choices and instead aids Velvet Crowe on her path to vengeance. She is loyal and sticks to her code as a Malak, knowing how the Covenant between a Malak and a human works.

Despite Velvet’s refusal to forgive or thank her, she is empathetic towards the girl’s plight. This might be due to her spirit belonging to Serika Crowe. She guides Velvet out of the dungeons and helps her fight through several exorcists, showing that she is not as emotionless as Malakim are claimed to be.

History:

The night Serika Crowe died, she was summoned but with the spirit of the former inside her. Ever since then, Seres continued to follow Artorius wherever he went. While Serika Crowe did not maintain majority of her memories, she still maintains her devotion to both Arthur and Velvet. But after seeing how far Arthur had fallen, she transfers her will and powers to Velvet.

Seres cares a great deal for Velvet, embodying many of the older sister’s emotions towards Velvet. When she helps Velvet escape, she expresses a great deal of sorrow in regards to what happened. She tells Velvet about how the ritual failed for Artorius which made him still mortal. Also, she expresses her wish to back in time to relive the days that Arthur, she, Velvet, and Laphicet were still together in Abal. After she expresses her wish, she asks Velvet to devour her and take on her powers using her Daemon arm.
