About the Photo Quest
The Photo Quest is a new sidequest added for the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII.
To start this quest, talk to the photographer named Cameron Obscura when you first visit Port Prospect. After speaking to him, you will obtain Cameron’s Challenge Codex. This allows you to take pictures around the area. Cameron will ask you to take a picture of specific creatures or locations in the world of DQ8.
You can earn stamps by completing each mission in the Photo Quest. The number of stamps you receive depends on the difficulty of the mission.
Note: We are still in the process of updating data on this section. Check back regularly for changes and updates on the Photo Quest archive.

You have to enter Faybury and exit via the south gate after 30 slime kills to make him spawn. He’ll show up at the Waterfall Cave / Checkpoint crossroads south of Faybury after you do this.

004 is wrong, it’s not Capsichums you have to snap it’s Paprikans which are north of Reds den.
