Attacks

1) Normal Attack

Hits a single target with physical damage.

1) Blast Punch

Halves the target’s current HP and inflicts delay.

2) Haymaker

Hits a single target with a powerful physical attack.

3) Mighty Guard

Casts Protect, Shell, NulFire, NulFrost, NulShock, and NulTide on itself.

4) Slowga

Inflicts slow on the entire party.

Strategy

Make the boss vulnerable with Armor Break and Mental Break

Auron’s Armor Break and Mental Break attacks lower the boss’ physical and magic defense respectively. This allows the rest of the party to deal more damage to it with normal attacks and spells.

Inflict darkness on the boss

Using Wakka’s Dark Attack or Dark Buster lowers the chance of the boss landing any hits on your characters for better survivability

Use Provoke

To avoid being quickly wiped out by the boss’ powerful physical attacks, you can have Tidus use Provoke so that he will be the boss’ only target for the fight. This causes Defender X to only use Blast Punch, which only halves Tidus’ current HP. Have the other characters burst the boss down until it is defeated.
