Attacks

1) Normal Attack

Spherimorph’s default attack. Damages a single target.

2) Fire

Hits a single target with a fire spell.

3) Thunder

Hits a single target with a lightning spell.

4) Water

Hits a single target with a water spell.

5) Blizzard

Hits a single target with an ice spell.

6) Press

Reduces the remaining HP of the entire party to half.

7) Elemental Shift

Changes the current elemental pattern of the boss. Is done after being hit with its elemental weakness.

Strategy

Be aware of Spherimorph’s current elemental weakness

The boss changes its elemental weakness frequently during the fight. You must identify its current weakness by attacking it physically and forcing it to counterattack with a magic spell. The spell it uses will let you know its weakness.

The table below shows each element next to their opposing elements. For example, if Spherimorph attacks you with Fire, hit it with Blizzard or any of its stronger versions. If it attacks you with Water, hit it with Thunder and vice versa.

Spherimorph will change its elemental weakness after being attacked with its current weakness. Just repeat the process described above until it is defeated.

Yuna’s Nul spells

Yuna’s various Nul spells are extremely useful for mitigating the damage from Spherimorph’s magic attacks.
