A flamboyant and narcissistic Archer who fights for Zofia. Leon cares deeply for his friend Valbar while remains neutral towards his other fellow Kamui. His group sided with Celica’s army for a great cause in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. He returns to fight for the Order of Heroes in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Leon is one of the top Bow-class units due to his strong ATK, in conjunction he can exchange attacks decently against moderate ATK stat units as he comes with some sustainability in the form of DEF and HP stats. In this way, Leon finds a niche as a unique front line Archer to tank for his more frail allies.

Strategy
Leon boasts high Atk which is covered by his high Def to make him a candidate for the front line. His default kit is decent, with Ignis, he can capitalize on his high Def to convert it to damage dealt, which with his already high Atk can create a dent on the enemy lines. Equipped with Slaying Bow+, which acts as an extension of the Killer weapons line, allows him to abuse Ignis easily.
His Skills are decent, by equipping the Guard 3 Passive he can punish enemies in combat. However, because of his High Atk, it makes more sense to pass it on to units that fulfill the role of dealing chip damages instead. To neutralize his Speed disadvantage, it would be better to build around a Speed boon Leon to enable him to decently counter certain heroes, otherwise if he gets another boon (excluding Atk bane) he works well with Brave Bow+.
Factoring in Skill inheritance, Leon makes good use of Quick Riposte 3 to alleviate his low Speed. Another alternative is to combine Brave Bow+ and Death Blow 3 to further improve his offensive capability. Coupled with his default weapon kit and stellar Attack, he can easily trigger Bonfire or Draconic Aura which is essential for dealing with enemy heroes in the Arena.
Although Leon may have some durability against Physical attacks, he fares poorly against Magic users who can outspeed him due to his average Res. To make things worse, his Speed is not spectacular, making him prone to being doubled by majority of those in the upper echelon. Raven tome units are particularly concerning because of their high damage to colorless units.
To account for his Res, he appreciates support from high Res units such as Kagero who excels in annihilating most infantry Tome and dragonstone units considering they are not boosted by buffs. Dancers and Singers are always appreciated as one can extend Leon’s offensive potential or have him dodge from the enemy’s line of sight after taking an enemy unit out.
Counter
- Hector – Having gargantuan Def as an armored unit, Hector can retaliate with Distant Counter if Leon decides to snipe him.
- Effie – Another armored unit built with Wary Fighter 3 in her default kit. She can survive Leon’s Attack and can retaliate once she catches up to him.
