Lucius, born in Etruria, lived with both his father and mother. His father served as a mercenary until he was killed by a thief. His mother shortly died after due to disease. Lucius then traveled around as a monk, accompanying Raven. When summoned in Fire Emblem Heroes, he appears as a Colorless/Staff hero.
Stats
Lucius is a magic tank, capable of taking in heavy amounts of magic due to his high Res. He doesn’t have much attack though, forcing him more often to run around. In fact when first summoned, Lucius has no weapon. However, he can serve as a small wall for the mages to shoot at until the player positions his/her heroes right.

Strategy
Lucius isn’t really a strong healer and his lack of mobility also speaks for his low-tier rating. However, he does have some sort of tankiness considering he has Miracle. In order for him to reach his full potential, he has to inherit loads of skills. Hence, some players just choose to replace him instead with another healer.
However, if the player has no other healer, Lucius can adopt skills from Wrys. One skill would be Live to Serve which is quite useful for him especially when trying to sustain himself. Another skill to accompany that to give him more mobility as a combination with Martyr is Wings of Mercy, allowing him to move around the map more quickly. Players can also opt to make him a more offensive healer by granting him Savage Blow or increase his sustain with Breath of Life.
As for his special attacks, players opt to have more buff-based heals. Players can utilize the Elemental Buff Heals such as Kindled Fire Balm or Solid Earth Balm to further empower allies.
Counter
- Cecilia – Cecilia has Gronnraven+ which allows her to deal heavier damage against colorless units. She’s also a Cavalry Unit, making it easy for her to shoot past terrains.
- Kagero – Kagero‘s Poison Dagger not only lowers his Res (which is his only asset) but also deals extra damage to him as an Infantry.
- Jakob – Jakob’s main weapon can inflict debuffs on his Res and already sad defense.
- Saizo – Saizo bears similar traits to that of Kagero.
