Strategy

Sharena is one of the default obtainable units alongside her brother Alfonse, and their commander Anna. At face value, she seems to be an ordinary unit whose main function is to pass Rally Attack but raising with Unlock Potential and Skill inheritance provides her with the proper tools to double as offense to repel non-Magic red units.

Factoring Skill inheritance, Sharena’s build does away with boon/banes to accommodate a set well-built to take on the Arena. For passive skills, she makes best use of either Fury 3 or Triangle Adept 3. Fury 3 is compatible with allies that have Ardent Sacrifice to cover HP lost, while she reciprocates with buffs in return. Another skill is Lancebreaker 3 which helps her deal with opposing Lance units in general, while still putting some pressure on Sword fighters.

To improve on her debuffing capabilities, she can pair Threaten Def 3 or Threaten Spd 3 with her Fensalir depending on the team’s adjustment. This allows not only Sharena, but also her teammates to gain more sustainability in the battlefield.

She is not without flaws however, as her Resistance becomes an easy target for Tome units particularly Green tome units, and struggles against dragonstone bearers.

Despite her pressure against Red units, she is better off placed at the back line to pass Rally Attack. Offensive heroes like Kagero and Takumi cover the Physical spectrum, while tome units such as Delthea and Nino check the Special spectrum. Another teammate is Olivia whose Ruby Sword+ can deal with opposing Green units that give Sharena trouble. She also doubles as a support by casting Dance and Hone Attack to augment Sharena’s damage output when facing against red sword or blue lance units.

Counter

  • Even with a decent Defense stat, she dislikes dueling against Green units who have high Defense. Apart from that, opposing Dancers/ Singers can spread their Assists to allies to enable double attacks in order to take her out.
  • Hector – has gargantuan bulk to soak up Sharena’s attacks and retaliate with his own color advantageous ones.
  • Camilla – Due to her long reach as a flier, she can surprise Sharena and deal serious damage with Brave Axe+.
  • Delthea – Her monstrous attack can easily pick on Sharena’s low Resistance.
