Spathi’s only damaging attack. Does heavy non-elemental magic damage.
Strategy
Defeating Grothia
Summoning Shiva with a full Overdrive gauge will allow you to easily take out Grothia. You can cast NulBlaze on Shiva to completely avoid any damage from Grothia’s Hellfire if it has a chance to attack.
Defeating Pterya
Call out Bahamut for this fight, preferably with its Overdrive at the ready. Mega Flare is capable of dealing massive amounts of damage and can make quick work of Pterya.
Defeating Spathi
Spathi’s only attack is Mega Flare and it will spend most of the fight charging it. Burst it down with Ifrit and Ixion’s Overdrives before it has a chance to attack. You can use Shield to protect yourself when Spathi manages to unleash Megaflare.
