Sinspawn Gui Boss Strategy

Use Haste

Cast Haste on everyone, especially Lulu, to be able to maximize your opportunity to deal damage to the boss before its turn comes up.

Attacking the boss

It is recommended to take out the boss’ head first to prevent it from casting Thunder or Venom. Have Lulu use Fire or Fira on it a few times. Yuna can also pitch in with Fire or Fira as well if she has learned them. Remember to attack the head when it begins “moving suspiciously,” as it will use Venom on its next turn if left unharmed.

When the head is dead, focus on attacking its armored arms by having Auron or Kimahri unload on them. This allows you to deal more damage to its body. The arms will regenerate after a while, so attack them again or focus on the body with Lulu or Yuna’s fire spells as they bypass the arms’ defense.

Second Battle

The second battle is significantly easier than the first, especially since Seymour will temporarily join your party. Focus on bursting down the boss with Seymour’s powerful spells and the fight will end quickly.

Note that you can have Seymour use Sensor on the boss to allow him to perform an overkill using his magic. This allows you to obtain six Lv. 1 Key Spheres instead of just three.
