Area: Zanarkand Ruins – Dome

| 10 | Ascend the steps, then enter the door. |
| 11 | Pass through the small room until you reach the room with a lift. |

| 21 | After he departs, go down the stairs, then up through the corridor. |
| 22 | Defeat the Guardian Beast (boss). |

Boss: Guardian Beast
You would want to keep switching roles on one of your characters to gain some loot and keep the party alive. Fortunately, the boss can be dealt with using any elemental magic, barring gravity. Have one member use the Black Mage dressphere and strike it with an “-aga” spell. The guardian beast deals powerful damage, so it is good to have a Songstress to cast buffs to soften the damage. You could then switch to White Mage and have a character cast Cura and Esuna depending on the party’s needs. Another option is to have a thief rotate between Pilfer Gil and Steal to loot some items. Continue to whittle it down and switch to the desired dresspheres to survive its attacks and it should go down.
