| 1 | Talk to Rikku and Paine for a cutscene. |

| 2 | Go to the front of the ship. |
| 3 | Talk to Brother and a cutscene will ensue. |
| 4 | Talk to Shinra sitting by the computer. |
| 5 | Check the computer. |
| 6 | Select “Shinra’s Guide to Everything.” |
| 7 | Choose “Using Garment Grids.” |
| 8 | Finish the tutorial. |
| 9 | Ascend the stairs behind the bridge. |
| 10 | Record your progress with the Save Sphere. |
| 11 | Board the lift and choose “Engine Room.” |
| 12 | Collect the items from the chests then return to the bridge. |
Area: Cabin
| 1 | Board the lift, then choose Cabin. |

| 2 | Talk to Barkeep at the bar. |
| 3 | Optional: Buy items at the Gullstore. |
| 4 | Choose “Rest.” |
| 5 | Return to the Bridge, then go to the front. |
| 6 | Return to the Bridge and talk to the Pilot. |
| 7 | Select “Mt. Gagazet.” |
