Strategy
Sphere Break tournament
When the cutscene ends, you will receive five Reptile Coins, five Bird Coins, five Wasp Coins, and five Ahriman Coins. You need to defeat three opponents to qualify for the last round. Before you participate in the tournament, be sure to save. You can opt to challenge tough opponents if you wish. However, if you want to go through it quickly, you can start by challenging the easier opponents.

Dealing with Shinra
You must defeat Shinra to obtain the dressphere in the last round. Your goal is to score a high Echo bonus. Start by completing a core with about two to three coins. Then, rack up those core breaks with the same amount of coins. Should you find that the core consistently throws 1’s to stop the Echo bonus, you can reset the game and try again.

Look closely at the break multiples on top of each round. For example, if the break multiples listed 2 as the first number on the left, you need to look for a combination of numbers under the column labeled “2.”
Use the tables above to find the combination of numbers to match the ones that are available on your grid.
If worse comes to worst and Shinra defeats you, you will have another chance at challenging him in Chapter 5.
