Area: Thunder Plains

| 2 | Search the north side near the Cactuar statue for an item. |
| 3 | Take the east path, then scan the area for another item. |
| 4 | Continue west and check between the fourth and fifth tower for the last chest. |
| 5 | Head over to the next area. |
| 6 | Find the old shelter in the center of the area. |
| 7 | Chat with Lian and Ayde. |
| 8 | When they ask you for a location, choose whichever you like. |
| 9 | In the same zone, go east from the entrance to find the first chest. |
| 10 | Continue heading east past the eighth tower for another chest. |
| 11 | From the spot you found Lian and Ayde, follow the path west for the last chest. |
| 12 | Make your way to Macalania Woods after collecting everything. |
Strategy
Finding Cid and the Ronsos
Look at the mini map and check for any cross marks to pinpoint their location.
Cid’s location depends on your answer in Chapter 1. You can find him on the south side if you chose the option “Not really.” Meanwhile, if you answered “You bet I do!” and have spoken to him in Chapter 2, he will be standing in between the second and third towers.
The pair of Ronsos will only appear in Thunder Plains if you talked to them in the Calm Lands during the previous chapter. Look for the old shelter in the middle of the map. When you talk to them, you can select whichever option you like, as this only influences where they will spawn in the next chapter.
