Can You Outfits in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)?
You cannot freely change character costumes in the game.
There is no way to change Clive or any other character’s outfit in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16). Note that costumes for various characters are automatically equipped based on story progression and cannot be customized at any point during the game.
Equipping armor or accessories does not change Clive’s appearance.
Regardless of the gear you have equipped on Clive, his outfit does not change. The only pieces of equipment that have unique appearances are weapons (swords) that you have Clive wield.
Alternate outfits may become available in future updates (DLC).
While not confirmed from official sources, new costumes for Clive and other main characters may become available in future updates via free or paid DLC. More information on this will be added when it is confirmed from official sources.
