Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Trophy and Achievement List

Use the strongest Eikonic Abilities of each channeled Eikon to deal 50,000 damage.

Dealing 50,000 damage during Takedown is done by using the strongest attack ability of certain Eikons you acquire during the main story. Whenever you use most powerful Eikon attacks, time will slow down, allowing you to effectively stack damage when the enemy is staggered.

Increase damage dealt during Takedown with Lightning Rod and Will o’ the Wykes.

It is recommended to activate passive forms of increasing damage by using Lightning Rod and Will o’ the Wykes if you want to deal 50,000 damage on a single enemy. Lightning Rod’s effect will automatically trigger when you attack after casting it while Will o’ the Wykes calls forth fireballs around you to continuously damage a nearby enemy.

These abilities will significantly increase the number of attacks you can land on your foe while taking advantage of the increased damage multiplier (from Lightning Rod) while the enemy is in Takedown.

Upgrade and master abilities.

Another way to reach 50,000 damage is to upgrade and even master certain abilities which may gain increased attack power if you spend Ability Points (AP) to enhance them. Try to farm AP whenever you can to make sure your Eikonic abilities deal the most damage you can at your current level.

Other Tips to Reach 50,000 Damage During Takedown

Progress through the main story

You may find that it is very difficult to output 50,000 damage on an enemy during the early stages of the game. In this case, try to progress through the main story so you can unlock and upgrade more abilities, weapons, and accessories that raise your overall damage output.

Equip damage-boosting accessories.

Certain accessories that boost the attack power of specific abilities can also help you achieve 50,000 damage and higher. Try equipping gear such as The Favor of Light (Gigaflare) and The Favor of Lightning (Judgement Bolt) to get the most out of using these hard-hitting attacks when the enemy is staggered.

Description “If Ragnarok was forged to mark the war of the gods, then Gotterdammerung — meaning “twilight of the gods” — was forged to mark the fall of those selfsame deities.”

Obtaining Gotterdammerung, the best sword for Clive on New Game (NG), may also make it much easier to output 50,000 damage on a single target. You will, however, need to progress through the late stages of the game to craft it if you are fine with putting off the feat during the early and middle stages of the story.
