How to Check Total Play Time Guide for Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)

Can be viewed from the Playstation 5 (PS5) Home screen.

You can check your play time in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) from your Playstation 5 (PS5) Home screen. Simply move the cursor to the FF16 game application and the game info (including total play time) will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

Note that you can only check the total play time in the game (not the play time for each save data in the game).

Total play time cannot be viewed while in the game.

There is no way to view your total play time while in-game. You must press the PS button in the center of the controller to return to the Home screen if you want to check your play time while in the middle of the game.

You cannot view the play time for each individual save file.

It is also not possible to see how many hours you have put in for each manual saved file in the game. Even if you start over from a previous save file, the play time does not change so there is really no way to view it.

Why Should You Check Your Total Play Time?

Comparing your clear time to that of the average number of hours stated by the game’s developers.

You may want to check your total play time after you have beaten the main story of FF16 as a way to compare it to the average clear time of 35 hours (according to the game’s developers).

May be useful for speedrunners.

Being able to check the total play time may also be useful for speedrunners who aim to clear the game in the fastest time possible.
