How to Get a Chocobo in Final Fantasy XVI
Requires to complete “The White-Winged Wonder” Side Quest
Note: This side quest will appear while doing the main quest, “The Gathering Storm”.
- Find the hunted chocobo
- Defeat the bandits
You need to go to Martha’s Rest and talk with Rowan, , Traveling Trader and he will ask for your aid to a flock of noble chocobos that have attracted the ire of a gang of bandits.
After accepting this side quest, follow the quest marker and defeat the bandits that are surrounding the chocobos. Shortly after the fight, a cutscene will play as soon as you have slayed the enemies and you can now ride Ambrosia.
