You can get Ragnarok in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) by clearing all Blacksmith’s Blues side questline that becomes available during Main Story Quest 35 onwards. All of the quests in the chain can be initiated from The Hideaway by talking to the quest giver (NPC).

What is Ragnarok?
Required base weapon for crafting Gotterdammerung (Best Sword for New Game) and Ultima Weapon (Best Sword for New Game+).
Ragnarok is among the rare materials you will need to forge the legendary swords Gotterdammerung and the Ultima Weapon, the strongest armaments for Clive in New Game (NG) and New Game Plus (NG+) respectively. Each of these powerful weapons also require additional materials obtained throughout the game, either from high rank Hunts (Notorious Marks) or by progressing through the main story.
